A-Fraud... No thats not right, It's A-Roid!!
Well what can i say, it's been a long time but Im back. Your favorite loudest and proudest sports blogger has returned and this time I sound off on A-Rod. Now being from Boston Im taught to hate anyone who has ever put on a Yankee hat and that goes for former RedSox's(rrr Johnny Da... stop we need not say it!) to Yankee fans. Back in 2003 I was, like everyone else in town, was pleading with A-Roid to play short-stop for the Sox. When it did'nt happen I was Pissed. Then the Rivilary came around and he was at the forefront of it. From that moment on, I couldnt stand the man and look foward to the post-season, mainly because I knew he wouldnt preform. Fast foward a couple of years and well I still cant stand him. But for A-Rod, thats all he had to worry about. While he obviously failed to handle the pressure, he still got to count his money and party like a movie star. With the current steriods era, names were dropped every week, but none of them him. Well that all changed February 6. Once his name showed up in those files, a career that was hall of fame bound is now in question. In the court of public opinion, his career is tarnished. Now, to A-Rod's credit, he did exactly what he should have done which was to just come clean. Doing that saves him from the courts, the hearings and most of all,the FBI. It may not seem like it but while it is black mark on baseball, people will breathe a sigh of relief to hear A-Rod say that he F'd up. It does'nt make him any less guilty, it just makes people feel better. However, if A-Rod could'nt stomach the pressure before, look out now because everytime he steps into Fenway, hes going to throw up.
