Road Rules

So this is who the Celtics really are. A team thats gets shook up by the oppossing teams crowd. Some coaches would say that they are who we thought they were. Others would put a positive spin on it and say atleast they are winning at home and they have home court advantage. I would say that those are just excuses for a team who won 66 games this season. When it comes to the road the PGA turns soft and starts playing like rookies. The only way to win the NBA finals is to go on the road and start taking games. People can say the Celtics have homecourt and they can win the championship without winning on the road but who wants every series to go seven games. This is a terrible display of team basketball, and a mockery of what they say Celtic basketball is. To be honest, if they can't go into Cleveland and take one game then they dont deserve to be NBA Champions. Who is the leader of the Celtics? Kevin Garnett. He makes 20 million dollars so that in the 4th quarter on the road, he can keep everyone together playing the right way. And above all, he is there to keep the intensity!!! Peirce used to be Mr. 4th quarter, knocking down 18 footers when it counted. Now he can't make a lay up. Ray Allen is one of the best three point threat of all time. Now it doesnt seem like he even wants to be out there during primetime. Ainge brings Casell to the team to be the second wind for Rondo and he has only shown up in one playoff game.
So is the problem coaching? Or is it just a lack of intense pursuit? IT's BOTH! Doc Rivers is making questionable calls when the game plan should be very simple. And the Celtics look like shades of their former selves when the game is on the line.
And what's the solution? Well im all out of answers for the road, but the only thing that I can say is that they need to build a very big lead so they can avoid any close games.
My last words will be to Doc Rivers, so listen up Doc and listen good. You were handed a team that is championship material. You are going have to give your team a serious talk about what they want to do with this season. Two question should be thrown out in the meeting. Do you want throw away an fantastic season? Or do you want to take it to them? Whatever happens is on the shoulders of the PGA.
