They tell us to put down the shovels, but what they have'nt realized is that while ditch has been finished, 90% of the fans in New England have not thrown the dirt. They answer for this is simply because it's not september 14th yet. People around town are waiting to see what young Matt Cassell is made of. They want to know if he is a mexican or a mexicant. JT the Brick tells us that because we think the Patriots still might have a shot, we're arrogant and we are disrespecting Tom Brady. That's to say that Tom Brady is so good, no one else could ever step up and complete a have decent Job? I get it, he is one of the greatest of all time(before 07, no one was even trying to say that). Listen, im not saying he is going to go 16-0(even though thats what I want), I'm saying that the man can atleast get them into the play-offs. Its not like its going to be rocket science. We have the easiest schedule in the league this year. It's like Belichick planned this by telling Brady to just fake the injury so he could prove that he is the master of all coaches, and no one else could coach on the same level.
It's safe to say that this is the biggest challenge of Belichick's coaching career. Josh McDaniels must be ticked off that he did'nt make himself more visible for a head coaching job last year, because if this goes horriby wrong he might not get sniff another that position. If I'm Tedy Bruschi, I go up to Cassell with Randy Moss and say be focused at all times, keep your composure in the pocket, and most of all, DON'T force anything, because that leads to mistakes. You keep that in mind and we(the defense)will handle the rest. Thats when Randy steps in and says you have me and no one else in the league has that, so we got a shot.
So as you can see I'm just an optimist but only because it's not fear for any team to have an eight minute season even if the team has been so dominant for seven years. And while the ditch is still fresh waiting for the 08 season to die, I'm not throwing dirt on it until I see someone knock that chip, that now has become so large that Joe Montana might have a problem carrying it, off their shoulder. If your wondering and I think that you are, I have talked myself into believing that this kid possibly has what it takes. But not so much because I had this dormant faith in the kid, but because I have faith in the genius to get us to where we need to go. May the force be with us all.

Summer of Wonders
Ahhhhh.... well it's the end of the summer and I have'nt spoke for the majority of it, so lets recap shall we. The Red Sox spent all summer finding ways to lose when they should have already run away with the division. The Anahiem Angels had a lovely summer beating the hell out of the Redsox and Yankees proving that there the best thing since an egg white omlet. After a dug out load of incidents, the Sox let Manny trot off into the sunset to get his 20 million in Dodger Blue. The Patriots rather than continuing to answer superbowl questions, decided to just not talk to anyone about anything until training camp. Then that came and they still have'nt said anything worth printing. And then their was Bret Farve.....umm lets move on. The Olympics came to Beijing and the USA basketball team did what they had to do and left with the gold. I believe they blew teams out by an average of 27 points, excluding the last game. And Michaels Phelps, well what can we say, hes a beast, and if Auqaman ever was in the Justice League movie, Phelps should play him. In my opinion, the best part of the Olympics is when the Cuban Tae kwon Do fighter does a flying spin-kick to the refs face because of the curupt officiating. The guy, in turn, is banned from ever competing in a Tae Kwon Do competion again(priceless). Ahhhh the curuption and the air polution of Beijing, its a beautiful thing. It made for one of the best Olympics I've ever watched. Ohh and last thing, I loved the big dome they made for most of the huge events. And to my enjoyment, they called it the Bird's Nest.
Well with that said, the summer was filled with long lasting events. Some good, some bad, but in grand scheme of things, none but the Olympics will matter anyway. I'll be back sooner than later, watch for me.

Their Hero?
A man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. This is the true defintion of a hero. I understand, you want my point. Those at the four letter network have chosen their hero in these NBA Finals and they are none of the PGA tour. Instead, the network has chosen a man who just four years earlier, they nearly crusified. Who you ask? This man is none other than MVP Kobe Bryant. How can a man whose name they dragged through the dirt all of a sudden be your champion? The answer is he can't, except when everytime you walk onto the court and your the best no matter who is on the opposite team. Up until now, Kobe was looked down on for his recent playoff failures in the post Shaq-era. Columnist around the country critisized him for not being a team player and looked for him to continue to screw up so they could have something to write. His coach wrote a book and talked about how Kobe was uncoachable. They came down on him more when he wanted out of L.A because lack of talent. This is the man they call their hero, thier champion, their warrior!
Then Kobe went on the offensive. Once more he lit up the league with a mere 500. team. Then they added Pau Gasol, and Kobe found finally, someone he could pass the ball to. The Lakers Cruised for the rest of the season and Kobe got the MVP. But what the four letter network did'nt expect, was for Kobe to defy the odds and get to the championship without the big man. Caught off guard, ESPN retracts thier previous statements, and crowns Kobe their champion to win it all. And here we are, the day before the NBA Finals, and to them, Kobe has already won. They just have to wait a couple days for things to play out. So bring your hero to Boston and we, the people, will judge if he is exactly that. But be warned, you are only their hero as long as you continue to win.

Road Rules
So this is who the Celtics really are. A team thats gets shook up by the oppossing teams crowd. Some coaches would say that they are who we thought they were. Others would put a positive spin on it and say atleast they are winning at home and they have home court advantage. I would say that those are just excuses for a team who won 66 games this season. When it comes to the road the PGA turns soft and starts playing like rookies. The only way to win the NBA finals is to go on the road and start taking games. People can say the Celtics have homecourt and they can win the championship without winning on the road but who wants every series to go seven games. This is a terrible display of team basketball, and a mockery of what they say Celtic basketball is. To be honest, if they can't go into Cleveland and take one game then they dont deserve to be NBA Champions. Who is the leader of the Celtics? Kevin Garnett. He makes 20 million dollars so that in the 4th quarter on the road, he can keep everyone together playing the right way. And above all, he is there to keep the intensity!!! Peirce used to be Mr. 4th quarter, knocking down 18 footers when it counted. Now he can't make a lay up. Ray Allen is one of the best three point threat of all time. Now it doesnt seem like he even wants to be out there during primetime. Ainge brings Casell to the team to be the second wind for Rondo and he has only shown up in one playoff game.
So is the problem coaching? Or is it just a lack of intense pursuit? IT's BOTH! Doc Rivers is making questionable calls when the game plan should be very simple. And the Celtics look like shades of their former selves when the game is on the line.
And what's the solution? Well im all out of answers for the road, but the only thing that I can say is that they need to build a very big lead so they can avoid any close games.
My last words will be to Doc Rivers, so listen up Doc and listen good. You were handed a team that is championship material. You are going have to give your team a serious talk about what they want to do with this season. Two question should be thrown out in the meeting. Do you want throw away an fantastic season? Or do you want to take it to them? Whatever happens is on the shoulders of the PGA.

Is it the light or dissapointment at the end of the tunnel?
Let me start off by saying this, a 19 game winning streak defines a team that is fearless, a team that goes after every loose ball, a team that has learned to play team basketball and most importantly team defense. There is something brewing down in Texas and it has nothing to with San Antonio or Dallas. The Houston Rockets are pulling off something only four other teams have done in NBA history. They are not simply winning, they are blowing away the competition. If the nations eye brow was'nt raised before, it is now. I would have to admit that win they got to ten wins I was'nt convinced because I've seen mediocre team do this before. Then they got to twelve wins and my head began to slowly turn toward Houston. Yao goes down, and then I, like the rest of the country, said nice winning streak, better luck next year. As the country turns its attention back to the Celtics and seven other good teams in the NBA, Rafer Alston screams back and leads Houston to seven straight.
Now as inspiring as this is, it got me thinking. How did this happen in a western conference where nearly every team seems to be out for blood? The obvious answer is that their team defense has stepped up significantly in the absence of Yao, but there is more to it than that. Looking back, the majority of the wins that the Rockets put together have come at home and thats given them an huge advantage. Thats only half the battle because of the 19 teams that have fallen, only eight of them have had winning records. You can make that argument that while the streak has been undeniably impressive, only beating eight winning teams can't bode well for the play-offs. But their is two sides to every story. The Rockets have blasted themsleves to the third best record in the west which means they are setting themselves up for one of the top four seeds. So lets say they get one of these top seeds. T-Mac will have breathed a sigh of relief because then they definitely have a great chance of atleast getting out of the first round.
In a perfect world the Rockets will continue to bring down the house and storm into the play-offs to make a statement. But the reality is they've got a brutal scedule coming up and the only way to get one of those precious top seeds is to atleast come out of that stretch over 500. And if anything is true it is that the streak is alive and well, but Houston is well aware they are just one losing streak away from having to cool those jet engines.

The war on CRIME!! No steriods... so we think
To be quite honest, this Roger Clemens and Brian Mcnamee issue is all just a media circus. I cannot believe that it has come to a hearing with all the media and people viewing. This right now is the biggest topic in sports, and thats sad because this is the worst issue baseball has ever had to deal with. The last hearing that took place in 2005 amounted to nothing. No closure came of it and people were left with nothing but lingering accusations. We have to ask ourselves why congress is so interested in trapping baseball players who have done steriods in the past. Besides the easy answer that it is damaging to thier body and that it effects children, thier is an underlying answer. Thier is so much more going on in the world today with the war and issue that effect the US directly such crime poverty and improving race relations. So congress feels the need to go after high profile baseball players who do steriods. Yes, I understand that it is illegal, and people go to jail for these offenses, but to make a media frenzy out of it is deplorable. I can garauntee that nothing will come of this hearing and people will continue to speculate. All congress will get Clemens on is perjury.
This has nothing to do with steriods at this point because everyone already believes he did it anyway. In my opinion people are looking to pubicly destroy his name the same way they did to Barry Bonds. As he said yesterday during the hearing, he is never going to restore his name and it is going to be difficult to set the record straight without hardcore evidence.
Let be honest, if this were really a war on steriods they would be going after everyone who ever used performance enhancing drugs, from Sammy Sosa to Jose Guillen. Sense 90% of baseball did juice, they would have to get rid of baseball's brightest stars and srcubs. Then that means they lose a boat load of money and they don't want that. If you notice they only do all of this for the biggest stars. They make it a media cirus for ratings and to make a profit off of it. The only truth is that cash rules everything around baseball and steriods.

The end of the undying machine
Before I begin, I would like apologize to any Redskin's, Cowboy's, Bill's, Jet's, Doplhin's fan that I ever laughed at. Why? Because now you laugh at me, histerically. While I would like to pretend that Sunday never happened and that we actually play this weekend, I can't. Sunday night at approximitely 10:30 PM, our precious dynasty was killed, they stormed our kingdom and slaughtered everyone. The Patriots castle Gresco exploded and they hit rock bottom. They lost to Eli "The Punk" Manning. All the Pats needed was one play, and we thought that play happened on two occasions. Eli is in the pocket and is basically sacked but then somehow escapes and bombs it. The ball is caught and the city of Boston begins to drink whiskey from the bottle. If anyone would have told me last Friday that Eli "The Punk" Manning was going to come into our kingdom and destroy the undying machine, I would patted them on the back and brought them a shot. This is the worst loss in Boston sports history. It is reminisent of how the 2003 Red Sox season ended but ten times worse. The Patriots defense let the punk drive down the field on them and score a touchdown uncontested. If you would have told me las friday that was going to happen I would have told you to drink more.
So now as we get ready to be depressed for the next two months, there are atleast a couple of things to look forward to.
1. The celtics in the play-offs
2. SPRING TRAINING!!
3. Revenge on the NFL and "The Punk"
If you hav'nt noticed by now "The Punk" is public enemy number 1, pushing his brother back to number 2. Don't be surprised if the winning streak is ressurected one more time, fueled by the punk's miracle throw. And if nothing else, the Boston - New York rivalry has just evolved.

The Great Debate: 85 Bears or 07 Patriots
And with one more win the 2007 New England Patriots will drill into everyone's head that they are the best team to ever grace a 100 yard football field. Or Will they? There has been much speculation that the Patriots will be up there as one of the top two teams in NFL history. Now with a win on sunday that would take care of the 72 Miami Dolphins, but then who does that leave besides the Pats? Sources coming out of Arizona say they are still willing to place the 1985 Chicago Bears on top of the Patriots. Looking up the stats from that historical 85 Bears season and matching them to the 07 Patriots, i have come up with the way to prove that the Patriots are the better team.
1. Let start obviously with the quarterbacks. We all what Tom Brady did this year, but even more astonishing than that is what he did'nt do much of. He didn't throw many interceptions, in fact he only threw 8. Why is that unbelievable you ask? Its unbelievable because their offense threw the ball more 80 percent of the time! Brady finished up with a completion percentage of 68.9, which is highest among QB's in the league. His QB rating was career high 117.2 In 85, Jim McMahon got hurt for part of the season and ended up with 56.9 completion percentage. His QB rating was 82.6 and he only threw for 15 TD's and had 11 interceptions. Im sure Rex Grossman probably could do better than that. The only thing Jim beat Tom in is his ability to scramble out of the pocket. But still, Edge Tom Brady
2.The tailback situation in New England was in the beginning non-existant. But then the weather got bad and the ground game attack picked up and Maroney ended up rushing for 835 yards with six TD's. On the other hand Walter Payton had a stellar year on the ground picking over 1500 yards with 9 TD's. Edge Walter Payton
3. The recieving core for New England is beyond anything that anyone has ever seen. The team was ranked number 1 in total offense. It seems as if Brady has an answer for every defense. The team score a record 589 points this season while Wes Welker and Randy Moss had a season for the ages. The Bears recieving core does'nt really compare to the Pats because their leading reciever, Willie Gault had 1 touchdown for 704 yards. The Bears offense ranked 7th overall that year. The rest of thier recievers were pretty mediocre. Edge New England
4. The argument starts to turn in favor of the Bears when it comes to defense. The 85 Bears defense ranked 1st in the league while the Patriots defense ranks only 4th. The Bears front 4 is significantly better than New England's and they had some pretty dominating victory's with thier defense. Richard Dent had 17 sacks that year while Otis Smith had 10. Mike Vrabel lead the Patriots with 12 sacks while Adalius Thomas had 6. The leader of the Bears Defense Mike Singletary had only 3 sacks, but he still edges the leader of the Patriot defense Tedy Bruschi who only had 2. Edge Bears
These two teams in a lot of ways are similiar accept for the fact the Bear released a debut video called the Superbowl Shuffle down the stretch of the season. The Patriots scored dominating victories with their offense. The Bears had dominating victories with thier defense. Some say they are better because they had more dominating victories down the stretch of the season. While the Patriots have'nt won the superbowl yet they have won every game in all sorts of ways. On February 3, if the Patriots Beat the Giants thier is no doubt that they are the greatest team because they never lost and the 85 Bears did.

THE BIGGEST STAGE
What does it mean to be in the superbowl? It means that players have one shot at being the best. They have one shot at holding the trophy they dreamed about as children. Only three Giants have ever been in the superbowl and experienced all the media hoopla that surrounds it. Junior Seau that said it best a week and a half ago when he stated that the teams that are playing the superbowl have a chance to be part of ever. No one understands that more than him because it took him 13 years, which is 181 games, to get back to the superbowl. Reaching that game is a testiment to a teams mental and physical toughness. Reaching it there undefeated is testiment to team dominance . With thousands of players in the NFL, few ever get to experience a superbowl run. Everyone wants to be on the team where John Elway marches down the field to score the winning touchdown or be there for when Adam Viniteri kicks the field goal to ice the game. The only you get a chance to live that is if the organization down to the players all have one common goal.
The Patriots have numerous players that have been in the superbowl but if you ask anyone of them, every superbowl has its own experience that is fresh. Players begin there Journey to the superbowl in the offseason when no one is around and all eyes arent on you. Only they know how hard it is to get to this game. Rookies on the other hand get robbed of this feeling when they get drafted on to decent to great teams that makes a superbowl run. They can't fully understand the work ethic that it takes to be on top. Im not to saying im not happy for them, but when you look at a guy like Randy Moss who worked 10 years to get here and then you look at Kelly Washington who is here after 6 months, it can be a little frustrating.
Superbowl week can be a pretty fun week for the players but if you want to be celebrating at the end you have got to go into this week like your studying for finals. Tom Brady recently said that superbowl week is great time just not for his team because they have a job to do. He also stated that going to arizona is a business trip for him and his teammates just on a larger scale. Its all about how much focus you will have come game time Those who focus when the lights are on them the most are the ones that truly enjoy and understand superbowl week. The Pats and Giants understand that this is the biggest game of thier lives but who ever walks out of Arizona with the Lombardi trophy will have played the game of thier lives.

Boston an NBA Contender?
Well here we are witnessing what we never thought we would see in our era, a possible NBA champion. With the amount of acqusitions that were made in the offseason during the draft, Danny Ainge finally got it right. He made the Boston Celtics a contender for the title. Who would have thought..right? The man that everyone thought was on his way to being a distant memory in Boston struck back and shocked the world KG style. Now put that in cup of Peirce with a shot of Allen and you have the PGA tour. The Celtics are off to its best start in franchise history with a 33 and 7 record which also happens to be the best record in the NBA. While everyone else has their team in cruise control, the Celtics are running hard up and down the floor every single game like they have something to prove. Why you ask, because they DO have something to prove. Were not talking about the Suns who know they are going to make it to the playoffs no matter how they play in January and February. Were not talking about the Spurs who have four championships and still manage to kick tail even when Duncan is out of the lineup. We are talking about the Celtics, who last season were riding a 18 game losing streak and were at the end of everyone's jokes. This was a team that had to lose by 40 points just to be in highlights on ESPN. An arena that you could go into and get a ticket 10 minutes before tipoff. A city where fans would go to the game on a night when the Lakers were in town just to get a glimspe of Kobe, and see him dunk on Brian Scalabrine. But no more because the Garden is now the house that Garnett is rebuilding. ESPN now needs the Celtics for ratings. No one cares for Kobe. Bostonians can't even smell a ticket anymore. And like that team 40 minutes north of Beantown, the only thing the green rides are winning streaks.
The number one thing that KG preaches is team defense making the Celtics the number one ranked defense in the league. Its seems the company line around the North End is run hard on every team good or bad, which make it easier for us to understand why the Celtics only have one loss in the Atlantic conference. So KG and Peirce will make sure the rest of the guys don't let up teams like the Bobcats because its February. Youngsters like Big Baby Glen Davis will learn that the NBA is an 8 month affair where you have to prove your worth to the league and your peers. Ray Allen will realize that the playoffs are looming and playing hurt might just have to be a real possibility. Danny Ainge will understand that a back up point guard is very much nessecary. And most importantly the city of Boston will again "Believe in the Green".

The most wonderful time of the year for predictions
Its that time of year again, yes Championship Friday. The air always seems a little more crisp on days like these. Children seem to be a little more happy as if santa was on his way. Boston is shining a lot brighter because once again the Patriots grace the center stage and Bostonians want last years championship episode erased from everyone's mind. But here come the mighty San Diego Super Chargers with thier mouths that speak louder than thier play does on the field. These two teams have a bit of history such as the fiasco that happen on the field after last years divisional game that Patriots won. Then LT ignites the fire with comments about the Patriots as a team. He even went as far to throws some jabs at coach Bill Belichick. Several months later the two teams squared off again in week 2 of the season where the patriots put on a show and decided to rout the Chargers 38-14. But like the old saying goes, out with the old and in with the new, and the new is sunday's AFC Championship game. The heavily favored Pats will have to take on a very hot San Diego crew with revenge on the mind which they know is a dish best served cold. They are on an 8 game winning streak that include two playoff games. They went into Indy last weekend and took out the Colts so they will be coming into New England with a noticeable swagger and a nothing to lose attitude. And while they have a right to be confident but they really should be concerned. The Chargers won the game against Indy but not before the Colts could take some shots at them. They managed to take LT out the game and leave him with a hyperextended knee and crushed Phillip River leaving him with a hip injury. Thats direct hit to the running and passing game so i cant understand how these sports analyst can say that the Chargers are playing with house money. People can only play with house money when they have a strong hand, and most people would fold if they had San Diego's.
Im not saying that the Chargers dont have credible backups, but when teams are healthy they still have a hard time keeping up with the Patriots. Antonio Cromartie is a very athletic and experienced cornerback but he wont be the answer. To even give yourself a chance to win against the Patriots, you cannot make one mistake and if you dont believe me, ask Philadelphia. Its going to take way more then Billy Volek and Darren Sproles to win this game. For the Chargers to pull off the upset for the ages, they are going to have create turnovers on defense and capitalize on every opportunity with 7 points, which is not going to happen. With that said I think the Chargers will atleast put up a fight for a quarter or two but in the end the Pats will pull it out in their ever so handsomely rout fashion. My prediction for the AFC championship, the Patriots win by a landslide 48-17.

Patriots-Packers 2008 superbowl. A Football fans Dream
What happens when you put a quarterback who is playing ungodly football together with a quarterback who everyone in America(even New England fans) roots for. You get the greatest superbowl of all time. This would be a dream for Fox. The money that would come in for them would be off the charts. Bret Farve, in many people minds, last year was washed up. People were getting the lynch mob ready to run him out of Green Bay. Rather than give in to the pressure, he goes out and proves that, still in his 17th season, he is one of the great football hurlers in the league. This guy threw for 28 Touchdowns this year, gained 4,155 yards and is going to the Pro Bowl at 38 years old. Yes, he is getting up there in age according to football standards, but he is one of two quarterbacks in the NFL still standing that has the sheer desire to drive his team to the big game. The Packers this season have more than exceeded expections. I guarantee that no one, expect for Green Bay, expected the Pack to be back in the NFC Championship game.
The Patriots, the other team Fox needs in the superbowl, are going for history. The covoted 19-0, a challenge that no man has ever accomplished on the NFL level. Would'nt it be amazing to a watch a superbowl where you have the "Golden Boy", with all the single seasons records, going up against America's favorite QB. The story lines are there: Can Farve take down the undying machine. The sports writers will twist it into an good vs. evil story: Good ol' small town boy Bret Farve vs cheating Hollywood Scoundrel Shady Brady. Writers will somehow relate this superbowl to the 1997 superbowl as the second part or the revenge. People need this to be the superbowl, they are dying for it to be the superbowl. This is the time for Patriot haters to root for the stumble and Patriot fans to see what everyone else in New England have been waiting for. People from young to old will watch this game and it will go down as the most watched superbowl ever. Its a chance for the Patriots to become the greatest. Its a chance for New Englanders to throw another championship in the face of the rest. Its a chance for Tom Brady to show that he is the most feared QB. Its a chance for Bret Farve to prove everyone wrong and complete the unthinkable. The Patriots vs. The Packers, the greatest superbowl of all time.

Bolting toward the AFC championship Game
When it was all said and done, lightning struck twice. The San Diego Chargers pulled off the upset and knocked the Indianapolis Colts right out of the playoffs. The Chargers, not once but twice, stopped the Colts from gaining a pivitol first down in the final minutes of the game. Its absurd to think that sending a backup quarterback and tailbacks in the game was going to get the job done. Thats exactly what happened. Phillip Rivers goes down at the end of the third quarter while throwing a touchdown pass runningback Darren Sproles. They put the ball in the hands of Billy Volek who goes 3 of 4 for 48 yards. Volek marches San Diego down field and scores the winning touchdown with a with a quarterback sneak. Earlier in the game Ladainian Tomlinson injures his knee and has to leave the game. What do the Chargers do then? They put in Darren Sproles and Micheal Turner who do their job and keep Peyton Manning on the sideline. Come to think of it, San Diego had so many backups in the game that it was reminisent of a team they might field for a preseason game. Regardless of who was in the game, they all did thier jobs and KOed the the defending superbowl champs. So now the Chargers earn the right to play the New England Patriots in the AFC championship game in Foxborough Massachusetts. A direct rematch from last years divisional game. The only way the Chargers will have a chance of winning that game is if they play mistake free football. Rest assured they are going to not only have double Randy Moss, but the key here is to slow down or stop Wes Welker. Hes the driving force to keeps Tom Brady on the field during key third down situations. Its up to the San Diego linebackers to limit his yards after the catch. If they can do that they will force the patriots to rely heavily on their tight end Ben Watson. In not saying its going to totally stop the Patriots offensive machine but that will definitely throw a wrench in their plans. Its a daunting task but after the win in Indianapolis they know they can go toe to toe with anyone.

Dominance on all phases of the game
Since the AFL NFL merger in 1970, there has been only one team to win every game on there NFL schedule. It just so happens that that team won the superbowl, which served as their reward for their hard work. The team that I speak of are the 1972 Miami Dolphins. That Record, for so long, was thought of as untouchable, to the extent that no one else would ever be able to reach that accomplishment. That way of thinking is beginning to vanish from the minds of people around the country and even the world. It was during the 2007 NFL Draft that people began to realize that the New England Patriots were putting together a team to dominate the football world in ways never seen before. The acquisition of Brandon Merriweather as the number 24 pick would give them depth at the safety position. But it would be the next pick that would blow up the sports world. The Patriots traded a 1st round pick to Sanfransico for a 4th round pick and a 1st round pick in the 2008 draft. What a steal considering the discipline of spygate. Bill Belichick and Scott Pioli then gave that 4th round pick to the Oakland Raiders for Randy Moss, possibly the greatest reciever of our era. Its unheard of to think that a team that has dominated for so hasnt had an offense that could obliterate the opposing team, until now. And after the dust has settled and the smoke cleared, here the Patriots are today. Sixteen wins and no losses in the regular season, surpassing the 1972 Miami Doplhins old record of fourteen wins and no losses. Tom Brady becomes the League MVP and throws for 50 touchdowns, taking the throne as the the new touchdown king. Gisele Buchen becomes queen of the touchdown. A position not easily handled, ask Peyton's wife. They set all sorts of team records. Bill Belichick becomes coach of the year and they get home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Randy Moss becomes the new touchdown receptions leader with 23, passing Jerry Rice. All that stands between them and the AFC Championship are the Jacksonville Jaguars. To become the greatest team in NFL history they will have to first beat a very phyisical Jacksonville team who loves to control the clock with their duel back running game. Whatever happens count on number 12 to bomb the ball to number 81 to secure the game. And as we've seen when that happens we get "Straight Cash Homie."
